Terms of Service

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of RAMIS, the real-time news and market monitoring service available at https://ramis.io (the “Service”). The Service is operated by Yosi Rozenberg, an individual operator based in Israel (“RAMIS”, “we”, “us”).

By creating an account, ticking the acceptance checkbox at signup, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and Content & Copyright Policy, which are incorporated by reference. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company, and “you” means that company.

2. The Service

RAMIS is a monitoring and discovery tool. It continuously scans publicly available news sources for the companies, markets, and topics you choose to track, scores and summarizes matching coverage with AI, and delivers results to your feed, Telegram, and email digests. RAMIS is not a publisher, news outlet, or licensee of third-party content; the copyright posture of the Service is described in the Content & Copyright Policy.

Usage data. We collect data about how the Service is used — including feature usage, configuration choices, engagement events, performance measurements, and diagnostic information — and use it to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Service and to develop new features. Details and your related rights are in the Privacy Policy.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate account information, keep your credentials confidential, and notify us promptly at support@ramis.io if you suspect unauthorized use of your account. You are responsible for all activity under your account, including activity by workspace members you invite.

4. Free trial

New accounts receive a 7-day free trial of the Service’s paid features. No payment card is required to start a trial. Each person is entitled to one trial; we may deny, shorten, or revoke trials where we reasonably believe they are being abused (for example, repeated signups with disposable email addresses). When a trial ends without a paid subscription, the account falls back to the free plan.

5. Plans, billing, and payment

Paid subscriptions are sold through our merchant of record, Paddle.com Market Ltd (“Paddle”). Paddle handles checkout, payment processing, invoicing, and applicable VAT or sales tax. Your purchase is governed by Paddle’s Buyer Terms; these Terms govern your use of the Service itself. We never see or store your card details.

• Current plans and prices are listed at ramis.io/pricing. Prices may change; changes take effect at your next renewal after reasonable notice.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time via the Paddle billing portal linked from your receipt or from account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access until then.
• If a renewal payment fails and remains unpaid after reasonable retries, we may downgrade the account to the free plan.

6. Refunds

First paid subscriptions are covered by a 14-day money-back guarantee, processed by Paddle. The full policy, including how renewals are handled, is in our Refund Policy.

7. Your content

You retain all rights to the content you create in the Service — tracked terms, boards, notes, newsletter configurations, and similar workspace content (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service, including sending it to the AI sub-processors described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for Your Content and for ensuring your use of the Service complies with the law.

8. Third-party content

The Service surfaces headlines, source attribution, publication dates, short AI-generated summaries or snippets, and links to original publishers. The Service does not provide access to the full text of third-party articles. Third-party content remains the property of its publishers; a link to an article is not an endorsement, and we do not guarantee the accuracy of third-party reporting or of AI-generated summaries. Always consult the original source before acting on information surfaced by the Service.

9. Acceptable use, fair use, and rate limits

Your use of the Service is subject to the Acceptable Use Policy. In addition, the Service is offered on a fair-use basis: we may apply rate limits or other technical controls to protect the stability of the Service for all customers — for example on tracked-term counts, refresh frequency, manual generation actions, or API-like automation. Sustained usage far outside the norm for your plan may result in throttling or a request to upgrade.

10. Service availability

We work to keep the Service fast and available, but the Service is provided without a service-level agreement. At these prices we do not commit to any specific uptime percentage, and scheduled or emergency maintenance may interrupt the Service. We are not liable for missed articles, delayed alerts, or interruptions in monitoring coverage.

11. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your internal business or personal purposes during your subscription. You may not copy, modify, resell, or create derivative works of the Service except as these Terms allow.

12. Feedback

If you send us ideas or suggestions about the Service, we may use them without restriction or compensation to you.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by contacting support@ramis.io. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms (including the Acceptable Use Policy), if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service — in the last case we will give reasonable advance notice. Upon termination your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (including Sections 8, 11, and 14–19) survive termination.

14. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, accuracy, and non-infringement. Without limiting the foregoing:

• No professional or investment advice. The Service provides automated market monitoring for general information purposes only. Nothing in the Service — including relevance scores, sentiment labels, summaries, newsletters, or alerts — constitutes financial, investment, legal, tax, accounting, or other professional advice, an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any security, or a recommendation of any kind. We are not an investment adviser, broker-dealer, or fiduciary. Decisions you make based on information surfaced by the Service are yours alone, and you should consult a qualified professional before making them.
• AI-generated content may be wrong. Scores, summaries, sentiment, topic labels, story groupings, and TL;DRs are generated automatically by machine-learning systems. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, mistranslated, misattributed, or miss context, and they may differ from what the underlying article actually says. They are provided as a convenience only; always verify against the original source before relying on or acting upon them. We accept no liability for decisions, trades, publications, or other actions taken in reliance on AI-generated output.
• No guarantee of coverage. We do not warrant that the Service will detect, retrieve, score, or deliver every article, event, or signal relevant to your tracked terms, or that delivery will be real-time or uninterrupted. The Service depends on third-party sources, networks, and platforms outside our control, and is not a substitute for your own monitoring or verification processes.
• Third-party accuracy. We do not verify, endorse, or assume responsibility for the accuracy or legality of third-party news content surfaced by the Service.
• Data. We take reasonable measures, including routine backups, to protect Service data, but we do not guarantee that content will never be lost, corrupted, or unavailable. You are responsible for exporting any data you cannot afford to lose.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (or, if you are on the free plan, USD 100). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

16. Indemnification

You will indemnify, defend, and hold us harmless from and against third-party claims, demands, damages, and reasonable legal fees arising out of or relating to: (a) your use or misuse of the Service; (b) Your Content; (c) your violation of these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, or applicable law; or (d) your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual-property and privacy rights. We will notify you promptly of any such claim and may participate in the defense with our own counsel.

17. Governing law and dispute resolution

Before filing any claim, you agree to first contact us at support@ramis.io and give us 30 days to work with you toward an informal resolution — most issues are resolved this way.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts of Tel Aviv, Israel have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from them, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain unaffected where they apply. Any claim must be brought within 12 months of the events giving rise to it, where applicable law allows this limitation.

18. Force majeure

We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of war or terrorism, natural disasters, epidemics, labor disputes, power or internet failures, actions of third-party providers (including hosting, payment, AI, and messaging providers), and governmental actions.

19. General terms

• Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the policies they incorporate, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
• Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions remain in full force.
• No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
• Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you.
• No third-party beneficiaries. These Terms create no rights for any third party.

20. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will give notice by email or in the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The “Last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
