1. What RAMIS is

RAMIS is a news monitoring and discovery tool — not a publisher, news aggregator app, or content licensee. It indexes publicly available news coverage surfaced via Google News RSS and RSS feeds added by users, so that users can discover reporting relevant to the companies, markets, and topics they follow, and click through to read it at the source.

2. What users see

For each article the Service surfaces, users see:

the headline,
the name of the publishing source (attribution),
the publication date,
a short AI-generated summary or a brief snippet, and
a link to the original article on the publisher’s site.

Reading the article means clicking through to the publisher. The Service is designed to send readers to the source, not to substitute for it.

3. No access to full article text

The Service does not provide access to the full text of third-party articles. Where article text is retrieved, it is processed automatically — for AI relevance scoring and summarization only — and is not displayed, republished, or redistributed to users. This is a deliberate commitment of the Service, not just a current implementation detail.

4. AI summaries

AI-generated summaries are short (a few sentences), transformative in nature, and always presented together with source attribution and a link to the original article. They are meant to help users decide what to read — users must click through to the publisher to read the reporting itself.

5. Paywalled content

Users may not use RAMIS to circumvent paywalls or publishers’ technical restrictions — this is prohibited by our Acceptable Use Policy and Terms of Service. Where the Service detects that an article is behind a paywall, it limits itself to the headline and public metadata.

6. Takedown and de-indexing requests

If you are a publisher or rights holder and want content removed from the Service’s index — or your publication de-indexed entirely — email support@ramis.io. We commit to acting on valid requests promptly. To help us process a request quickly, include the following (a DMCA-style notice):

Identification of the copyrighted work (or publication) you claim is affected.
The URL(s) or other identification of the material on the Service (for example, the headline and source as displayed).
Your name, organization, email address, and role (rights holder or agent).
A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder.
Your physical or electronic signature.

Publishers who prefer that their content never appear in the Service can request blanket de-indexing of their domain via the same address.

7. Trademarks and no affiliation

Publication names and logos shown as attribution belong to their respective owners. Their appearance in the Service indicates only the source of an indexed article and implies no affiliation with, or endorsement of, RAMIS.
